Jalan-Jalan

Jalan-Jalan literally means "walking-walking" in Indonesian, but is used when just taking a stroll, going on a walk with no real aim. Tonight we went jalan-jalan-ing behind our house. We've said before that it's green here and here are some pics to prove it!

Also behind our house is a convent with the sweetest nuns ever! Every Sunday morning we wake up being serenaded by their beautiful voices singing songs to Jesus. It is one of my favorite parts of being here! We met Sister Rita on our jalan. When she reached out her hand to shake Olivia's hand, Olivia just hung on and we ended up walking hand-in-hand for quite a while! It was so sweet!
