It took us a LONG time to get our Christmas tree up this year. When we finally found a night with enough time between Pete getting home after basketball practice (he's the coach of the international high school bball team), eating dinner, baths and bedtime, we pulled out the Christmas tree to find that our lights didn't work anymore. So we waited until we could make an extra trip to ACE hardware (kind of like a mini-walmart here) to buy new lights. While we were there, we decided to upsize our 3 foot tree to a 5+ foot tree (which made me very happy). So we went home with our new lights and *new* Christmas tree and by then it was already bedtime so we decided to wait another day. So here we are, finally putting up our Christmas tree!
